Careful planning has to be done before planting fruit trees. The process of planning for planting should start at least six months prior you head towards the project of planting trees. When a person is planting a single tree, it is not much difficult and he or she can carry out easily. But when a person wants to plant many trees in their garden or backyard, he or she needs to take much care and follow many guidelines. Site preparation is one of the most important things to be done in the process of planning. It is the task of making the soil ready.

For some fruit trees, it is necessary to fence the area beforehand. Necessarily, one has to spray the entire area for weeds. Some kinds of weeds can also carry disease causing pathogens. Hence, much care has to be taken with regard to the burning and disposal of weeds. Drainage system of the garden has to be checked. Deep ripping of the soil has to be done because it can improve drainage system. One has to make sure that the area will not get subjected to erosion. For the purpose of improving organic content, the soil has to be fertilized.
